Open Call Auditions for 2008-2009

AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Auditions are being held at NASHVILLE CHILDREN’S THEATRE, 724 2nd Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37210

In your email, indicate which day (May 12 or May 13) you would prefer to audition and any conflicts you have for that day (e.g. “I can’t audition before 3pm” or “I need to be done before 6pm” etc.). David will send back a confirmation email with your audition time. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved time. If you do not have email access, you may request an audition time by leaving a message at (615) 349-3217. However, please note that you will receive your audition slot more quickly if you send your request via email.

Roles are for adult, professional actors, Equity or non-Equity (there are no roles for children in this season). You must be available to rehearse during daytime hours to be considered for a role.

Tennessee Rep is seeking local performers, as no housing is available.

Please bring two current headshots and résumés.

Please prepare two contrasting monologues together totaling no more than three (3) minutes. To be considered for Sweeney Todd, prepare 16 bars of a show tune, bring sheet music in your key and include the 16 bars within your three-minute audition time. Accompanist provided (NO RECORDED MUSIC, PLEASE).

Callbacks for specific Tennessee Repertory Theatre productions will be scheduled later in the year.
